Well I guess you could say we've fallen into the parent trap. You know, how you think the one you've got is so adorable and wonderful, that you must have another. So, we're officially "paper pregnant". We're already 7 long months into the international adoption process and we have little to show for it -- other than a "log in date" or LID of 10/30/06 with China. What does that mean? Well, that's when we officially started the wait in China. How long is the wait you ask? Hmmm, good question. The wait right now is long and getting longer. This wait will make the gestation of an elephant seem like seconds. We're figuring 2-3 YEARS from our LID until we have another China dynamo running the show in our house! But the Chinese have a proverb for this (they have a proverb for everything) that goes, "Patience is a bitter plant, but it's fruit is sweet". So, here's to waiting patiently....
